Consumer Escapes - Vintage Advertising

A colleague turned me on to a great site to spend a few minutes with called “Found in Mom’s Basement.” It's a well-organized collection of vintage advertising. In many cases the Mad Men were mad. Dust 'em off and take a look.

    That's because there's time and internet time. It is amazing to me how much you can get a feel for a period in history by the advertising. I can't wait until decades from now and we're judging the late 2000s by the advertising for Axe products.
